Dub
I know this isn’t purpose of this thread, but I have to ask....where do you start with this band? They have so many releases that when I start looking into them, I get overwhelmed and quit.

It covers everything up until the time they first broke up. It helped me get a feel for where I wanted to start with them even though I ended up liking everything

youspinmeround
Propeller, bee thousand, alien lanes, mag earhwig, space gun, warp and wood Those are my favorites and I own every full length gbv. What are everyone's favorite non gbv releases?

But the golden age was fairly brief. I'd start w/ the string of albums released between 1992 & '96: Propeller (my favorite), Bee Thousand, Alien Lanes, Tonics & Twisted Chasers, and Under the Bushes Under the Stars. Skip Vampire on Titus, except for highlights like "Wished I Was a Giant" & "Gleemer". If you like what you hear, you'd be better advised to track down some contemporaneous singles & EPs than most earlier or later albums. Search: The Grand Hour, Get Out of My Stations, I Am a Scientist, Fast Japanese Spin Cycle, Tigerbomb, and Sunfish Holy Breakfast. noone
this doesn't include the vinyl, that's up at rockathon and amazon and everywhere. 2 shirts, 4 coasters, a small signed poster, a magnet and a sticker, $100. https://stores.portmerch.com/guidedbyvoices/pre-order-earth-man-blues-merch.html
birdwell
freaking love both of these new T-Shirt designs. i know everybody has done the old-school batman logo....but I still love it (insert shrugging emoji here)
MyEnemy
This is fitting, because I got shipping notification from Revolver for my color copy of Propeller. Stoked for that to show up and see if there are any other variants that pop up. Someone on Discogs had mentioned it.
Dhesketh
Looks like the next reissue is Devil Between My Toes. Been seeing it pop up for preorder. Here’s one link: https://redyetirecords.com/products/guided-by-voices-devil-between-my-toes-colored-vinyl-colored-vinyl-vinyl?_pos=2&_sid=8c40f59b8&_ss=r Seen it on pop up a few other places but sold out. (Color, black seems like it will be widely available like vampire) Edited February 24, 2022 by Dhesketh Correcting Bronchitis
