sealed Posted November 28, 2020 Share Posted November 28, 2020 Oxes - The Fourth Wall OXES (1998-2011), was an experimental, instrumental trio hailing from Baltimore, Maryland, comprising of guitarists Marc Miller and Nat Fowler, and drummer Christopher Freeland. With performance-art tinged of instrumentals that incorporated wireless guitars and stand-up comedy, their music has been described as “heavy metal tone poems,” or “ZZ Top from far away and jazz up close.” The Fourth Wall is an expanded edition of OXES’ 2000 self-titled album packaged with their long-shelved first Peel Session, presented for the first time in its original high fidelity. It is the first in our Expanded Reissues series, which reissues albums with bonus materials remastered with the highest quality possible and includes unpublished documents.
