Recently bought a new record player and was excited to listen. Started playing first record and was greeted with a high pitch whining noise, this noise is not constant- link to sample https://soundcloud.com/user973343272/squeak The record now squeaks on another record player when it didnt in the past, is it safe to assume that the record player is damaging my vinyl? Another sample from the same record further on in the album has no squeaking which is strange but im scared to keep playing at the risk of damaging it further. Many thanks, Jude.
