A couple variants including one signed available on their site for $35. And a standard for $30.  The signed variant is limited to 1k.

edit: the "gold ghost" variant is sold out on their site now. They seemed to have around 100 for sale out of the 1k.

Almost $50 after shipping. Yikes!

Did you pick media mail? They had one for $6.

Also available at Bullmoose. They have a $30 and a $35 option. So i assume it is the same 2 that are on DFA store?

That last record was a stinker, I wanna hear this before buying it.

What did you think of Physical World?  I thought that was a fun one, even if it swapped out some grit for more pop hooks.  I haven’t listened to anything after that, though.  The last album’s singles didn’t really grab me and I haven’t felt the itch to check it out.  Sounds like I should just keep it that way.

New track is fun but gets kind of wonky midway through with the forced bridge.  Really dig everything outside of that, but not enough to confidently drop $35-50.

I didn't dislike it, but there was only a handful of songs from it I enjoyed and that's only because they sounded more similar to the first EP/LP.  I'm sure after being apart for so long they didn't want to come back and just repeat what they did before but in all honesty that sound is what I come to DFA for, or at least did.

Very understandable.  I still revisit YAWIAM for just how grimy and fun it is.  There’s a moment on this new single that sounds like it was cut off the last Strokes record – which I really enjoy, let the record show – but like you said, that’s just not what I aspire to hear when I throw on DFA1979.

And yeah, I get that it’s silly to expect to them to remain stagnant or sound identical after such a lengthy hiatus.  But even with a bigger budget and new production tricks, they could still manage to explore their older sound in a new direction that isn’t so... pop and cheese, I guess.

I like this tune miles better than anything of the last record. Cautiously optimistic?

I don’t need them to be all dirty and heavy all the time. I just don’t need the Foo Fighters thing we got with the last record.

Weird comparison.

Then it is decided: instead of eventually checking that album out, I'm just gonna' pretend it doesn't exist.

The lead single Freeze Me is decent, and easily the best song on the album.  The B-Side Keep It Real Dumb is kind of a fun stupid track too.  Both of which are on a 7", skip the rest of the album for sure.
