wiscodeman
Looking forward to hearing this. I hope it's in the same vein as what they did on Chulahoma. That's one of my fav Black Keys releases. As an aside, it's such a bummer that Richard Swift passed away because I'd love more material from The Arcs. I doubt that ever happens without him. Justinadamk
There's a song on their Lonely Boys and Girls Fan Club page, which is free to join. Not sure if this link will work to share directly to the vimeo source - https://vod-progressive.akamaized.net/exp=1618331805~acl=%2Fvimeo-prod-skyfire-std-us%2F01%2F2230%2F21%2F536152631%2F2536346069.mp4~hmac=9f29202aba388d2df195fdfaf36630675cdc566e5339d40e1b3615cf4de7edc2/vimeo-prod-skyfire-std-us/01/2230/21/536152631/2536346069.mp4

Sad Heart
Purple is kinda random. Black is great as always. But I’m curious if there’s gonna be any more. A coke bottle would be appropriate.

Gone wait for Bullmoose or a local shop. hahaha - I'm literally sitting here refreshing the Bullmoose search results for the exact same reason! I like the purple, and may still get it, but I really hope there's an indie exclusive (and thus $5 shipping)

andynz
4 hours ago, wiscodeman said: Anyway, who did it better? lol Two different takes on the song. But I'm going to say I like the Black Keys version more (and I'm a big Doors fan). The BK's version is more authentic to the Mississippi hill country style. The Doors cover is definitely the Doors take on a classic. wiscodeman

wiscodeman
Agreed. I'm going to wait until I can hear the full album, but if it's enjoyable enough I'll try to grab that indie variant. The mockup image looks more like "clear/black smoke" instead of "marble". I always think of marble as an opaque mixture of colors. The mockup of the indie variant looks the coolest too imo.
