Said that he sent back all the vinyl and they’re getting relabeled. Assuming that’s variants 2 and 3. Wonder if he’ll send fixed labels to variant 1 customers as well. someone asked about the boxset and he said he’s not working on it at the moment. Said that because of the Joshua Tree delays + mistakes he doesn’t want to take what is likely $200+ (for 8 albums and B-sides) of fans money and then have them wait for a year or more. So then he wants to just have them in hand and ready to go, but that means the band would have to pay for it since it’s spread across so many labels. Don’t know. It’s gonna be a bit.
