According to reddit and the baltimore people (take it with a grain of salt) Brady got into substance issues (he was selling a lot of stuff) and the band had to make a hard business decision. A restraining order and a court trial (between Ebert and each band member) appeared on the maryland judiciary website just the day before the announcement of the Brady Departure.
