I’ll hold out on cancelling them until I hear more but really don’t like that. The originals of all of those are damn near perfect imo. I don’t tend to buy EPs unless I really like it. I’d like to hear these and assume they will be available digitally and I think that will be enough for me, though I’ll probably pick up the Lifted EP when it comes out because that’s my favorite album of theirs. Multiverse Posted February 1, 2022 Share Posted February 1, 2022 I don't know The Bright Eyes discography means the world to me but I also just don't listen to most of the records that often these days because I'm a functioning adult now lol I still love the songs so I'm excited for the bones to still be there with the new versions, I'm definitely more excited for these than a new Bright Eyes album since I wasn't into Down in the Weeds at all I am hopeful I dig the other tracks more than what's currently up--either way I'm excited for Joyner & Lullaby for the Working Class features Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think a lot of the live performances they did around that album kind of displayed that with Mike and Nate playing most of the instruments and Conor occasionally hopping in on keyboard. Totally get where you are coming from though. And I hope people aren’t annoyed that I am bumping both of these Bright Eyes threads that are going on right now. yes chef Posted May 24, 2022 Share Posted May 24, 2022 I saw Bright Eyes in March and it was a real concerning performance. Conor ruined every song that wasn't a new song. They had to restart 3 songs, Conor's stage banter was incoherent and never-ending, he fell into the drums at point. It's realllly clear something isn't okay with him. I hope he gets well.
