scottheisel
Discovery, the duo of Rostam Batmanglij and Wes Miles, announces the vinyl reissue of their collaborative album, LP, available for purchase on October 28th. The digital version is already available for streaming and purchase. Originally released on XL Recordings in 2009, Discovery’s LP is the joint synth pop project from Rostam Batmanglij (founding member, songwriter and producer of Vampire Weekend) and Wes Miles (lead singer / songwriter of Ra Ra Riot). The album features guest appearances from Ezra Koenig and Angel Deradoorian, and is being reissued on vinyl for the first time in five years on a variety of limited edition colorways with an unlisted bonus track that was not on the XL pressing. This is a joint release between Tennisman's Wharf & Matsor Projects, Wes and Rostam's respective labels, in partnership with Secretly Distribution. official webstore on orange - $20 Rough Trade on black, yellow or orange - $23 Vinyl Me Please on magenta - $38 Amazon on color TBD - price TBD (but it's likely gonna be cheaper than VMP and RT at the very least) The dark purple variant is going to be for Urban Outfitters but isn't on their site yet. TheGhostOfRandySavage
Just a heads up, this definitely, isn't the first time this has been pressed. It was pressed in 2009 and 2016. First time on colored vinyl though.
