thesmugglare Posted January 23, 2023 Share Posted January 23, 2023 So, I recently bought an old Telefunken s600 hifi. I have not yet received it, and it is an object in need of some reparation. Main thing is that the tone arm, Ortofon As-212 (which seem highly popular by the way?) needs fixing since the bearing housing has been damaged (they seem to become brittle over time). I thought that maybe I would post a thread here with pictures etc. when I am trying to repair this unit, probably mostly for myself to be able to go back and look at pictures, but maybe someone else (now or in the future) would interested in seeing that too.
