Connecting headphones to a turntable.

Hi,

After getting some half decent headphones I have been trying to connect them to my Project Audio Jukebox E turntable which comes with an integrated amplifier and phono stage. Would the easiest way to do this be to get a headphone amplifier or is that not necessary since there is an already integrated amp. It has Line Out, Phono Out, In 1 and speaker ports.

 

Some advice would be greatly appreciated.

Grab one of these and connect it to the out. Should do the trick, assuming we're talking about wired headphones.

I don't think this is very good advice.  Line Out should only output a static line level signal as opposed to a Pre Amp out which would provide a variable attenuated signal.

 

You should get a headphone amp of some kind and plug it into the Line Out.
