justin8821
I bought this antique 50 record entertainment center/ jukebox at a local antique mall. It uses a rotary dial to select which record to play. The thing works great and now I can listen to records in the living room. j Rotary Dial Another Shot

shaizada
This is my second table that I adore for it's musicality! A Scheu Premier III, Schroeder arm and Jan Allaerts cartridge. Hooked through the Jadis DPMC Phono. Just got a new Solidsteel Hyperspike rack, so put some filled it up with some components and re-arranged the room a bit. dethrock and agaetisbyrjun
NJDevils1214
Nothing special. Yamaha CR-620, Klipsch Quartets, fed by Sony PS-242 and Sony CDP-508ESD. Also some NAD 2600 amps, Richter Scale III Active Crossover and an Onkyo AVR temporarily acting as a preamp for the DIY satellites and Subs. The Realistic LAB-395 has been replaced by the Sony PS-242. Ortofon Omega cartridge on the way. Love how this looks. Certainly downplayed. Dire Straits is good stuff too. 8ight
I've been lurking here for a while and finally joined, so I suppose it's time for an obligatory "here's my stuff" post. I'm fairly new to vinyl, actually. My interest was first peaked years ago when I saw bands like Converge and Sunn and Isis releasing their albums on vinyl. Eventually, I said screw it and began buying LPs despite not even having a stereo. After doing a lot of saving, research, and searching eBay/craigslist, I finally put together my first set up several months ago. One of the best investments I've ever made. ratbbb2
Hi 8ight Loved those A25s I just gave my pair to a good friend who lost everything in Sandy. I remember when my Dad bought them at Lafayette Radio in Jersey

shaizada
Sweet VPI HRX with Rim Drive! I see that you are using the acrylic platter...you should try out the classic platter as well if you get the chance. What cartridge are you running? What is the phono stage? Also, are those Rogue Audio amps? Speakers look like Vandersteens....kick ass system!
roygbiv
Finally got my vintage technics components fully setup after a small restoration and some servicing, all tied together nicely with my Funk Firm Little Superdeck, next on my list is some new speakers, I currently have Dali Zensor 7's with a natural wood finish (Doing a decent job to be honest) but I want to get something vintage. Skibum00
I gave up my listening room to make a playroom for my daughter and decided to stuff my music gear in a small office upstairs until we decide to finish the basement. The rooms only 10 x 11 but should hold me over for a couple years. danementzer and slinch

JumpingBean
Ok, so some pretty huge upgrades have taken place to this bedroom paradise since I last posted, so I thought I'd fill yall in.Here's a shot from my listening couch. The most obvious change was the addition of a new VTI equipment rack. it looks gorgeous and I was able to fill the support pillars with sand to make it totally dead of vibration. The next most obvious changes are those blue meters. Yes, I crossed over to the dark side. I acquired a C712 preamp and MC7150 amplifier both in mint condition and from the early 90s.The C712 is a beautiful slimline preamp that is the exact same as a c38 minus the tape functions (which I have no use for). The MC7150 is a everything I could ask for in an amp. It displays all characters of the music with ease and finesse, incredibly well balanced. I'm beginning to understand the magic synergy Mac and JBL have together. And at a very conservative 150wpc, it's more than I'll ever need in this space. The new Marantz CD6005 is a great bargain of a cd player and I'm completely happy with it. My CDs have never sounded to detailed and musical, I really understand now what I was missing with my old player. And most importantly I finally have a RCM! An old VPI HW-16 that's been upgraded to a 16.5. A long overdue addition.Unseen changes are: 12g Belden/Blue Jean speaker cables for my L80t's, Morrow Audio MA1 interconnects for my amp/preamp connection, and Wireworld Luna 7 interconnects for my cd player. roygbiv and slinch
JumpingBean
The room has changed a bit in the process too. My record and cd collections continue to grow, and I've added some comfort furniture as well. Don't ask me how hard I had to work to get my parents to let me put a damn couch in my bedroom. But I got it for practically nothing at salvation army I keep all the rock/etc in my room, but I have lots of classical in another part of the house.cdsheadphones!view from the equipment rackNext step on the upgrade path? Probably an upgrade to my Pro-Ject table. I hope to get a 2m blue stylus on there in the coming weeks, as well as an acrylic platter. But I'm saving up all income after that for a VPI Scout (hopefully that will happen this winter). slinch and hunterwasser
