Lots of news. Check it out.

Bad Seed – We would like to welcome Wilkes-Barre, PA’s Bad Seed to the 6131 family. This young band has been turning heads on the east coast for a while now and will unleash their fury onto the rest of the world with their 6131 debut. Bad Seed has already started recording their debut 7”; the music is done and the vocals are coming soon. We’ve heard the music and it’s insane. Check out their demo on their myspace, and be on the lookout for their song on the upcoming Reaper comp.

Foreign Nature – Don’t confuse with their laying low with inactivity. Foreign Nature continues to turn heads in the bay area and will soon turn their sights on the world, as they continue to write for their EP. They’re over halfway done with the writing process, which will see the light of day after they come to LA to record in the coming months. Until then, check out their demo which is available for download on their blogspot.

No Apologies – What are you doing this Saturday? If you’re anywhere in the southern hemisphere and not attending the last NA show, you’re a joker. This show is as action packed as a Jean Claude Van Damme movie, featuring such notable acts as 50 Lions and Miles Away.

Swamp Thing – What better way to start out the new year than with the record of the year? Swamp Thing’s debut LP, “In Shame” is slated to come out in January, just in time for their east coast romp with DTN. If you want a taste of what’s in store, check out two new songs on their myspace page. Pre-orders will be available soon.

Rotting Out – Who has six songs and is hitting the studio for their 6131 debut this weekend? If you said Rotting Out, you’d be right. They’ll be laying down tracks with Nathan from Violation that will be sure to turn heads. Look for big things from Rotting Out next year starting with a west coast tour with Soul Control in January.

Alpha & Omega – Whoever caught A&O on their full US tour with Trash Talk last month knows what California has been talking about. Check them out again on the east coast in Jan/Feb with IA and Cruel Hand. The repress of their EP is now available on limited colors(Black/100 and Clear/400).

Cruel Hand – Prying Eyes is hard. If the Bane/H2O/Cruel Hand tour is coming through your area, be sure to get there in time to catch their set. If you’ve already missed that tour, they’ll be touring for the next six months, including an east coast tour with Internal Affairs and Alpha & Omega. We still have copies of their debut LP, “Without a Pulse” available on color vinyl if you don’t have that already.

Down To Nothing – Don’t think that since David joined Terror, DTN was over. They’ll be playing a series of shows with Swamp Thing and Naysayer in December, followed by more to come. The repress of their split 7” with 50 Lions is available now. 100 on white, 400 on green. Damn.

Pressure – Pressure’s always on. Whether they’re on tour with Never Healed, Alpha & Omega, Crucified and Skin Like Iron or locked in their seedy Los Angeles studio writing their next record, Pressure always finds a way to keep busy. Since they’ve been home, Pressure has been hard at work writing new songs that will complement “Death’s Head” and the COA split on a comprehensive CD.
