I grew up in south carolina and have been to a ton of SAS shows. but recently I was talking to my good friend (also lived in sc) about something. he said that around the time ART came out, that they had a pic disc of it at some show they played. now hes not a collector of records, but I had never heard nor seen this before. do you know anything of it?

yeah thats what everyone says and when they do pop up they tend to go for a little more than id like to spend... the pink LP is a compilation called "i thought this was supposed to be a celebration" put out by Do The Math. latterman and matt & kim are on it as well, just to name a few.

heres the track list though

1 Underground Railroad To Candyland -Paint Thin Walls

2 Canadian Rifle -Follow The Leader

3 King Tuff -Ruthie Ruthie

4 Japanther -The Sun Goes Down

5 Maps And Atlases -The Most Trustworthy Tin Cans

6 Ka-nives -Katobi Rock N' Roll

7 Kit -Stars

8 Latterman -If Batman Were Real, He Would Have Beaten Up My Friends

9 Matt And Kim -Jesse Jane

10 Ultra Dolphins -If You Will

11 (lone) Wolf And Cub -Shut The Fuck Up, Rory Brown

12 Punkin Pie -One Month Later

13 Hunchback -All That Fear Allows

14 Parts And Labor -Camera Shy

15 Shopping -Invulnerable To Cure

16 Tulsa -Young And Foolish

17 Bossy -Walk Around

18 Dynamite Arrows -Lady I'm Fucking Dead

19 Pterodactyl -Ask Me Nicely

20 Rager -Been Signing Tits Since '86

21 Deathset -Had A Bird

mint green split hu? ive never seen one but.. could be. i love everything they did on indecision, ydhtbbtbf is flawless in my opinion. im not too sure about the new lp's pressing info. i havent looked into it because i dont plan on buying it, i think its rubbish (and w only one original member.. its basically not even throwdown). as far as i know i have the only two versions of the new trustkill press of haymaker/vendetta, they would be in the top right corner. some guy in OC just hooked me up w the clear st, dark red split and the too crushed cover i have and they didnt come too cheap... i dont plan on getting my hands on those last 2 too crushed colors any time soon.

Man, Japanther is rad. I saw them in NYC a few years ago and the instantly sold me. I loved it when they played a song twice in a row just because "it went over so well the first time."

+1 on that Gene collection. it makes me want to go back to my parents' and grab my old Gene 7"s from the garage. (the only ones i took with me were my signed copy of the Be My Light 7" and the Olympian and Drawn to the... LPs) they were definitely one of the best bands from the 90s Britpop era.
