kirbypuckett
My Digsby post got me thinking... I don't really use IM at all anymore. I leave the same stupid away message up at all times ("Away") and I don't really talk to anyone -- unless I'm sending my brother a message to see if he wants to play Battlefield 1943. I stopped checking away messages, because I don't want to read "Away" or uncredited lyrics / quotes. Checking up on your friends via an away message has been replaced by Twitter and Facebook Status Updates, both of which are quicker and more reflective on what someone's up to. Duff
haven't used AIM in a long time, since November i think. never really used MSN or Yahoo messengers.
drabley
Don't use away messages or any of that shit. But I do pop onto AIM every now and again to see who's on. I occassionally shoot the shit with someone. Speaking of instant messaging, does ICQ still exist? I had that shit right when it first came out -- my number was less than 10000. kyle
Funny, I just had a conversation this morning at work about how IM is old and nobody uses it anymore. I haven't logged in to AIM in at least two years. I don't know anyone who still uses IM. Someone IM'd me through Myspace the other day, so I guess that might count.
