weinerdog
I've just gotten into football the last few months, in part because of the bpl matches on nbc each week(Everton!). Since I lived in SLC I'm also rooting for RSL in the MLS playoffs. What I don't get is why on earth they have a 2 week gap until leg 2? I know there are INTL matches coming up this week, but it's a lousy way to get casual fans interested if a 2 game playoff has 13 days between matches. chefchino
MLS scheduling has always been an awful mess. Until we start the season when Europe does, it'll continue.
tomfiend
Where do you guys watch games? I'm looking for a reliable streaming service to watch the games, paid or not. Have you tried those sites to watch NFL Games? Any good? Somehow it isn't possible anymore to use the NFL Gamepass for free with a dutch proxy (at least on the ipad)... tomfiend
Yeah I've watched all sports through those websites. You should be good to go! They provide multiple links for most games so you can switch around and look for better quality streams. Greystash and Fijirider

eight1echo
My stream froze as the broadcast was switching cameras and left a faded close-up of the back of Ronaldo's jersey superimposed over a wide view of the entire field. It was appropriate. Greystash
Greystash
Two of my favorite players scoring all five goals. Excellent! This reminds me that I have to pick up Ibra's book.

StandupPaul
Scared of this derby this weekend. Liverpool have a bad habit of being completely shit after an international break.

vialister
SO glad real football is back this weekend. Derby weekend too. V Charlton This. You guys should hammer them. We better (will) beat the living shit out of leeds. 3-1 Kamara & Adomah with 2 I'm going for. That boy is on fire.
weinerdog
Wow....Merseyside derby was incredible. Disappointing that Everton couldn't hold a 3-2 lead late but then again they could have been down 3-1 earlier. Anyone chime in about how PL contracts work? Lukaku is on loan from Chelsea for the rest of this year, so I'm assuming there is no way they can keep him. What did Everton give up to get him in the first place? StandupPaul
Meirelles should have been sent off, but that's by the by. Our defending at times was comical. weinerdog, I'm afraid you have no chance of hanging on to Lukaku after this season. I'm surprised Chelsea let him go in the first place!! They usually pay a fee and (all or part of) his wages. I believe you can bring players back off loan prematurely but you would have to pay a penalty that would be built in to the contract and in this case at least, i imagine it'd be a big penalty. That boy is on fire. We should have hammered them, 65% possesion and absolutely dominated everything, should have been 5-0. No end product, Austin's goal was an absolute cracker though. What happened to Boro?
vialister
We should have hammered them, 65% possesion and absolutely dominated everything, should have been 5-0. No end product, Austin's goal was an absolute cracker though. What happened to Boro? Wins a win though! Steele got sent off (shouldn't have been a red) in the 42nd minute & we were 1-0 down. Carayol got one back and we played well with 10 man but they got another one. Ended 2-1. It'll take time for Karanka to settle in, he's only had 10 days with the team but it's the same old defensive problems day in day out. We can score a lot but we just can't keep the ball out of our net & we really need a capable right back, As good as Steele is he does make some rash decisions. /rant Also, is it just me that thinks that United get gifting decisions week in, week out? Not a chance Rooney should have been on the pitch, easily a red for me. Campbell was unlucky hitting the bar, excellent chip over De Gea. United will be lucky to finish inside the top 6 this season. I've got money on them finishing outside it.
tomfiend
Yeah Rooney should have definitely been off, that was clear violent conduct and the ref was looking right at it. I would love them to finish out of the top 6 but personally I still think they'll be up there. I don't think arsenal will win it, my money is on city.
