cadetapplesauce
i've only seen little bits of it (blue planet), but goddamn its amazing. and it looks soooooo fucking beautiful. i enjoyed planet earth, but found myself getting distracted or becoming bored with it after awhile. i LOVED the first episode of it, though. scottheisel
The ocean is incredibly fascinating to me. It's over half of the world, and yet we know so little about it and what creatures it contains. There's so much mystery over what's really down there -- it's like a whole other planet. robotnerd
last night i watched the episode about coastal shores. there is a section of killer whales swimming up onto the beach to snatch sea lion pups. it was so incredible and so amazingly shot it literally gave me chills for 5 minutes straight. scottheisel
Has anyone ever SCUBA dived or snorkeled before? I got to go snorkeling off the Florida Keys about 10 years ago and it was incredible -- barracudas swimming within 5 yards of me, 10-foot nurse sharks below me, sting rays; it was seriously incredible (until my dad got motion sickness in the ocean and threw up, scaring away all the fish). benchwarmer
have never been, but I've never left the land locked states either, want to, hope to, sometime soon. I touched a live shark once, that was really cool
ronniethebear
I caught a shark in Galveston, but it was only like 23 inches so we had to throw it back.

greenatheart
Never been, but I did get to "pet" a sting ray two years ago. It was amazingly scary and cool at the same time because he felt like velvet jello.
