ronniethebear Posted September 7, 2007 Share Posted September 7, 2007 that was there mistake they made an ipod thats more suited for movies and browsing the internet but didnt give it enough memory they need to make one thats 160gb then i would buy one to store all my movies. I travel alot so having a selection of movies/tv shows on an ipod with a bigger screen would be awesome. Give it time young skywalker, give it time. Once flash memory comes down in price I think you'll see the toy you desire. This is not going to happen for a long, long time I'm afraid. This is not going to happen for a long, long time I'm afraid. Depends what you mean. Flash-based memory as it becomes more and more popular will see massive price drops. That won't take too long. Apple was already rumored to be using a solid-state hard drive for its ultra-portable laptop. Granted that laptop has yet to see the light of day but its not a far-fetched idea. mattisr1984 Posted September 7, 2007 Share Posted September 7, 2007 i bought an 80gb back in october or november of last year... i dont remember, whenever it was that they came out. it was my first ipod that i updated from a 40gb creative zen and im very happy with it. im a little annoyed that they came out with 160gb model since i know somewhere down the road its going to bug me and im going to want one but oh well. i need space! I've been specifically staying away from this board so I wouldn't find new records to buy while I'm on my self-imposed "fast", but I missed out on all the giddy excitement around the new Apple goodies! I'm excited for the iPod Touch but I think that it's gonna result in more people asking me if the iPhone will ever end up in Canada.
