Guest conoley
I just heard this band at my professor's house. He was big into Husker Du in the 80s and actually brought The Ramones to Maine for the first time. Anyways, anyone know about what they have on vinyl? stefan
Sugar is great! Copper Blue is a must have on whatever format you can find it in. They do have boatloads of vinyl, go to http://www.musicstack.com/ and search for Sugar with "Vinyl Only". 80% of what see will be the Sugar you're after. biggiesized
I have "File Under Easy Listening"....great lp. I wish all the sellers of Copper Blue weren't overseas. That lp is even better.
rogoe
Almost missed this, drifted onto page 2. Definitely like these guys more than Husker Du. Stoked to hear about this vinyl.
scottheisel
If only picking up this band's vinyl was as cheap as picking up their CDs -- Sugar's back catalog is available in every used record store in America, usually in the cut-out bin for pennies on the dollar. Bring in a 10-spot and walk out with everything they ever recorded. Great band.
tim
I agree. Sugar was one of the bands I got into when I was around 11 or 12 that shaped my taste in music to come. I like Bob Mould's later solo stuff better, though. I would love to get his self-titled record on vinyl but I have no idea if that exists. Guest conoley
I just got into them and noticed a real Jawbreaker type sound - or the other way around I guess.
