ludesmaaan
Angry Mom RecordsIthaca, NY www.facebook.com/AngryMomRecords Angry Mom hellsyeah Your shop rules. I came in back in January on my birthday and bought a ton of vinyl. If you're the same dude, we were talking about a lot of the early 80's hc/punk (Teen Idles, Necros, Government Issue). You guys sold me that framed Plan 9 Records ad from MRR. Hope to stop back in soon.

julian
This thread has been really helpful. If anybody knows any other record stores in the general south Florida area, please let me know! I've checked out Radioactive, CD Heaven, as well as Record Rack. I go to Radioactive most frequently and I've found a few good things there. CD Heaven was sort of a bust and the guy's idea of "mint" was really, really sketchy. Record Rack was kind of cool, but it does have a lot of pretty pricey metal stuff. michaelmanfredi
Atlantic Sounds 138 W Interntnl Spdwy Blvd Daytona Beach, FL 32114 Not sure if any one has mentioned this place. Really laid back people that work there. They have a giant used collection for really good prices and a pretty big collection of current music at an okay price. Some of it is overpriced while others aren't at all. Definitely worth it to stop by if you're in the area.
llamason56
Sundance Records & Tapes in San Marcos, TX is closing it's doors on April 1st, 2012 after 30+ years of business. All one owner that entire time too. Makes me sad because I thought they were doing really well. :'(

thenameisluigi
TAMPA: Microgroove www.microgroovetampa.com 4906 North Florida Avenue Tampa, FL 33603 (813) 667-7089 Relatively new shop, I discovered it last weekend for RSD. Pretty small place considering it's in a converted garage. I was mainly looking for RSD stuff that day but they had a pretty even mix of new/used. Didn't have a lot of records but I'm sure it'll expand over time.
burnthealbum
In Greenville, SC on I-85 take Laurens Rd. exit towards greenville, about 2-3 miles is Earshot then another 1-2 miles is Horizon records. Both have lots of new and used vinyl. Earshot is more "modern" Horizon more your parents record store, based on clientele. Earshot tends to have slightly better prices in general. Stop by on your travels.

hirize
Columbus, OH!O Used Kids Records Lost Weekend Records Singing Dog Records Magnolia Thunderpussy Records Johny Go's House of Music 3 of those are within walking distance, would make a good weekend trip to the city. If it hasn't been mentioned later in the thread: Singing Dog closed a couple years ago, sadly. I had a spot on the shelf behind the register reserved for my ashes upon my demise. but now we have Spoonful downtown, just had 2nd anniversary. on facebook here. and blog here. I still morne the loss of the Dog, but Spoonful is a very close next best. super friendly too
