afireinside7444 Posted May 19, 2012 Share Posted May 19, 2012 Thanks guys we got so lucky with the house its kinda in the middle of nowhere (drive 45min+ to work), after growing up in Detroit as a kid then at 10 my mom was carjacked we moved 30 min away to a older suburb. Now I am about 1.25 Hrs North West of Detroit. We are on just shy of 2 acres and behind that street behind our babys playscape is a HUGE pond/small lake surrounded by a 4 acre wide few hundred long picece of state land that winds through the Township the crickets frogs and other stuff in the pond is defening at night (in a good way). She's committed for now so I know she's safe. - Taking on getting her off the streets took such a toll on my mentally that I forgot my anniversary. + My wife has seen what I've been going through and is understanding. + Doctor plans to ask the courts to keep her 28 days. - I might have to testify ----- my Uncle and Aunt who have dumped this on me and my Dad are refusing to as if their time is somehow more valuable. It's not my fault someone else couldn't come in, I couldn't stay so I left. + Had a good day in general after that. + I helped my mom up the stairs twice, and she did them surprisingly well, and is sleeping in a bed upstairs rather than our first floor couch for the first time since her big fall. + It was a very nice day, weather wise. + I won a Cornhole game from Labatt Blue Light's "Auction of Awesomeness".
