The Get Up Kids return with the 'Simple Science' 12" EP, a limited edition, hand numbered 12 inch vinyl containing their first new material in six years. This is the first release by Simple Psyence.

The 4 song 12" will be pressed in an edition of 2,000 copies broken down as follows:

500 on baby blue vinyl (VC Exclusive)

500 on pink marble vinyl (Hot Topic Exclusive)

500 on green marble vinyl

500 on 180 gram black vinyl

We have baby blue, green marble, and 180 gram black vinyl for sale. There is a small chance that we might be able to offer a few pink marble records, but I am awaiting an answer from HT. Stay tuned.

We will have copies in early April. There will be a test pressing contest, too. Pre-order this record and you will be entered to win a test pressing. Good luck.

Get Up Kids fans, we recommend picking up the Matt Pryor vinyl that Matt self-released and our upcoming release for Look Mexico with your Get Up Kids pre-order.

Seems expensive for 4 songs.

the tough thing from the label perspective is that it costs the same to press a 4 song LP or a 12 song LP. 4 songs definitely makes it a tough sell, but from what simple psyence is telling me, they will only do one pressing.

Virgil, you mention US pressing. Is this the only pressing, or is that guy in the UK selling from another set of records?

the uk pressing is on a 10"

the us pressing is on a 12" out of 2,000 copies (over 4 colors)
