oakland
New art is eh... but this is one of the best noise records of all time. The other Pushead 7"s being two of the other best. http://shop.relapse.com/store/product.aspx?ProductID=39316 And if you want the original 10" with Pushead art, I have an extra. daniele
I was talking with their guitar player after their gig in Rome and he said fucking pushead said no using his artwork for the repress....He sucks...
dangerass
I agree about the art. It's a bit of a mess. Some people have a hard time getting into 16 because of the vocals, but I think they fit the music well. Awesome band.
mxv
I was talking with their guitar player after their gig in Rome and he said fucking pushead said no using his artwork for the repress....He sucks... I was wondering when I was sent that to review (sadly not the vinyl version though) why they changed the artwork, now I know. That's a bummer. I used to trade records with Pushead and he was always super nice and generous so that story surprised me. Those 16 albums are great though, I highly recommend them. daniele
Curves and Drop Out are some of my favourite heavy records ever....I really love the vocals too!!!
oakland
The Pushead 7"s and Drop Out are just fucking insane. A lot of their later stuff is really good too, they just kind of got shoved aside by more dramatic bands with better PR. The vocals are awesome for this type of music on the old stuff.
