amsterdamned
Nothing is more brutal than when Pesci is getting killed. That shit stuck in my mind for a long time after that. He's classic in the "is this your pen?" part... I get Casino and Goodfellas mixed up a bunch -- he gets buried out in a field in his underwear, right? All beaten up by baseball bats? Believe so....he just gets straight up shot in Goodfellas, doesn't he?

kirbypuckett
Joyeux Noel (Merry Christmas)It's a French film about Christmas of 1914 in the trenches of Scottish, French, and German soldiers during WWI. I bought it kind of on a whim... I saw it used at Blockbuster or Hollywood Video and considered it, but went home without it and decided I'd track it down. It's fantastically done.. everyone speaks their own language (Germans speak German, French speak French, etc.) with subtitles and it's a true story. I've kind of wanted to see that just based on the subject matter. I forgot about this movie, I saw a trailer for it over a year ago and wanted to see it then. counterfiction
Juno - I didn't see the magic in this movie. It was cute and it was good but it wasn't mind-blowingly amazing like everyone else seems to think it is. Soundtrack is lame and it's just OK. More of Michael Cera on screen would have been nice. Shoot Em Up - It was over the top and ridiculous on purpose. Unfortunately it was still a little too serious to really hit the mark. It's a popcorn movie through and through. Or should I say, a carrot movie.
jhulud
City of Lost Children Thats the French movie right? I remember not really liking that movie for some reason. Yup. I thought it was awesome. One of my favorites actually. Not a lot people can get into it... My brother hates it...then again he hates any foreign film with subtitles... flatlinemole
Charlie Wilson's War was pretty good. i just wish i knew more about the history of the whole situation... you don't really need to know the background, but it would be more interesting if you did. good movie, though! adamlikesmusic
I wasn't too big a fan of that one. Just wasn't what I expected. Also not too big a Tom Hanks fan. I've seen the true story on History channel before, and found it interesting. Just not a fan of the movie.
