frappucino517
The pre-order is up at Undertow. In the premium set, there is also the option to pre-order the upcoming pressing of Fewer Moving Parts. http://www.undertowstore.com/artist/david-bazan
dreamover
$8 shipping at undertow, $6.15 from merchnow. but i'd rather support undertow than jade tree.
somethingvinyl
Do I need this? No. Do I want this? Yes. I have all the LPs and need only white WNQ and marbled IHTFAF to have all the variants... I love the slipmat and print.... I'm really thinking bout this.
dreamover
i have all the variants, but a remaster is much more enticing to me than a new color. especially when david himself has said how much he hates the mastering on the jade tree LPs. somethingvinyl
Oh, I don't care about the color. And I was excited for a TW remaster but the first pressings don't sound that bad.
dreamover
i wasn't calling you out, just saying, if you collect variants, this is even more exciting. the originals were not mastered for vinyl, they're just pressed straight from the cds. TW spent months remastering these specifically for vinyl. from what i hear, they're gonna sound amazing. and no, the originals don't sound "that bad", they just don't sound exceptionally good. they sound as good as the cds. these will sound much better, which is why most of us listen to vinyl. PatrickLHaynes
Definitely going to try to pick this up. Gonna have to wait a bit. Hopefully it'll still be available.
zacooper
Man wish I hadn't seen this thread. But I ordered anyway. Sucks that the pre-order is such a long time away but I know it will be worth it.
dreamover
undertow says it'll be available for preorder til august 30. i'll wait til then. if they sell out, i'll buy them individually. could care less about art print and slipmat.
drummerboy032
I ordered the bundle, can't wait to hear the remaster! Easy buy for me since I don't have any Pedro presses
bluethumb
The question now is whether or not to get rid of my original LPs...if they sound worse I can't see a huge reason to keep them since I could care less about variants.
