catalinacaper Posted March 19, 2014 Share Posted March 19, 2014 It's pretty simple. Season 5 being already locked down, the "Alexandria via Terminus" plot is just about a seasons worth of material. They need to fill in some space now because otherwise you will get 6 episodes next season of Rick trying to be a farmer again or some shit to kill plot time. At least they are providing somewhat interesting side stories rather than just fitting 5 minute segments from each group into a 40 minute episode.
