kidamnesiac
Anyone else using this yet? Wish I had an Android/iPhone. But being able to access my tunes from any web browser is SWEET. I used to use PulpTunes, but this is much better. Built in last.fm support! www.audiogalaxy.com
jimmythescumbag
I remember using it circa 2001-2002...I downloaded so much rad stuff, then my computer crashed or blew up or something.
AlexH.
Audiogalaxy was my introduction to piracy back in the day. This looked pretty cool at first, then I saw that your computer has to be on all the time for it to stream. Fuck that. Lala was way better, it's a bummer it shut down. deafmx
audiogalaxy was the ish back in 2001. I'm glad downloading has progressed since then but those were some definite glory days.
blanketbyday
Audiogalaxy was the biz back in the day, all the hipster obscure shit that you couldn't find on napster!
steviex2shoes
I wa seriously just talking about audio galaxy and soulseek with my brothers and how much more they ruled than kazaa or napster back in the day. I feel like audiogalaxy was shutdown pretty quickly in comparison to the other p2p sites.
MattyIceyo
i still rock soulseek now and again audio galaxy was great..just click a button and off you went into piracy land..
dethrock
I remember using Audiogalaxy way back in the day, but I can't remember anything about how it worked, the interface, etc.
troymess
Used it then and use it now with my iPhone 4. Love it.
tommytumult
Used it about 15 years ago to scour FTP sites for mp3s and then back when they had their software. I remember it being better than napster and its interface being very cool.
kidamnesiac
As a clarification (I also used to use Audiogalaxy as a p2p program back in the day): This is NO LONGER a peer to peer filesharing program. It's for streaming your music collection to any PC connected to the internet and/or your Android/iPhone. And it's awesome.
deafmx
I still remember getting stiffed on my last 2 months of my gold membership on AG. and when the domain turned into Rhapsody

steviex2shoes
I remember using Audiogalaxy way back in the day, but I can't remember anything about how it worked, the interface, etc. You had to download the download manager thing and then you'd search for stuff on the website and click a button and it'd down in the manager...kind of like emusic but for file sharing, that is if I remember correctly. alangrey
My favorite part about it was that you could leave your home computer on and on a different computer(work), you could browse music files from their website and select songs to download to your home computer. Big time technology at the time! Haha.
