skumbucket Posted September 7, 2007 Share Posted September 7, 2007 since i'm home sick again today i've got five or six EC LP's lined up here. i just don't understand why he's got one of the most re-issued catalogues in rock and roll, as the proper albums are perfectly amazing and sound just fine without being remastered, unmastered, and re-re-mastered like they have been over the last five years. this stuff is pristine as it was. has anyone else ever been frustrated by unnecessary/derogatory remixes/remasterings? i'd probably throw iggy pop's remix/remaster of "raw power" in on the pile as well...so unnecessary, especially since he basically just pushed all the faders into the red...
