toxicity
$65 - Rx Bandits - And The Battle Begun That's the absolute most I've spent to date, and I try to keep $50 as my absolute max I'll spend on a single album. I've spent that much on a handful of albums: Rx Bandits - Progress & The Resignation; Ben Folds Five - Whatever And Ever Amen & Reinhold Messner; No Trigger - Canyoneer; Touche Amore - PTSBBAM Deluxe. I think my fiance dropped an absurd amount of money on an RSD copy of Incubus - Morning View before the regular press was released. But I don't want to know the exact amount because it was a gift and it wasn't the right Incubus album.

stl_ben
So is this a thread to brag and see who has spent the most or a brag thread to say who is the coolest for spending the least... Unfortunately I don't feel I can be the king of either spectrum. ̮ ɤ ̮ and MrMystery

Mikko777
There are several records I have paid 50-60 euros plus postage, but not more than that:Depeche Mode - Playing The Angel Massive Attack - Heligoland Trent Reznor - Social Network OST Cardigans - Life Daft Punk - Tron Legay OST I'd shell more for Inception OST though, but that's exception. Ryan8765
Last year I dropped about 220$ (including international shipping) on an OG Mellon Collie. Number 2050 and it has that funky line on the front. It was allegedly never played also. It feels good to not want it anymore so I don't regret it at all. There is no other record I would drop that kind of money on.
Guest
If someone wants to give me $80, I found a record I would consider spending that much on.
stl_ben
Collecting vinyl is a bragging contest So then wouldn't it be best to brag about the vinyl that you paid little for but has the highest value? Like I bought a Dead Weather Triple Decker when it came out for $30, but I can't brag about that low price point very easily...
