Tibetan freedom concert compilation from 97/98

so many great versions of great songs, Pavement, radiohead, Ben Harper, sonic youth, Noel Gallagher, pearl jam, beck, r.e.m, blur RATM and the beasties.

probably a licensing nightmare, but a fantastic compilation

I was just thinking about Tibetan freedom the other day. I have been going to concerts non stop since probably 97 and that is one of the few tours I missed and regret.

This album turned 10 this year and I've listened to it well over 100 times. I'd be happy with anything pressed from Ludo. All they ever had was a Whipped Cream 7" picture disc.

This was released (and sold out) at their reunion concerts over the weekend.

Just follow up, there was three shows on Saturday, and the record sold out as the crowd leaving the middle show left.  There was none left for anyone at the third show.  So in my opinion it's highly unlikely they will have more to release online unless they press more.  That being said....I am hoping they are encouraged by this and released Broken Bride next!

Did you buy one just to sell it for $99.99 on Discogs?

Would he buy one to actually listen to?

Yep been spinning it every night since I got it....one of my all time favorite records.

I mean, no...jsut because I paid about $200 to watch the band live....there is no way I would ever want to actually listen to their music!
