"Alongside the video launch, M83 is pleased to announce a limited 10th anniversary transparent orange vinyl edition of Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming. This new pressing showcases cover artwork captured once again by Anouck Bertin.

The distinct concept of the 2011 album cover is rooted in Robert Plutchik’s wheel of emotions and childhood. With this new artwork, the album matures into adolescence with a warm color palette utilizing yellows, oranges, soft reds, and blush. The original cover stars, Kimona and Cormac, return to a revamped imagining of the now-iconic mise-en-scène.

The abundant stuffed animals in the initial cover art have now been reduced in number and replaced by totems of one’s teenage years: sports memorabilia, vinyl records, and scientific models.

The limited 10th anniversary vinyl edition will be available April 15."

I have the original colored press from Urban Outfitters, but I do really like the new cover art and color scheme.

On a related note, I also have the Mirror 7" but haven't touched it in years. I hope the pvc sleeve hasn't damaged it over time. Should prob check on that and put it in a paper sleeve.

I hate spontaneous pre orders. Would have really liked this.

Was on the fence about it when the initial pre-order went up, so I figured I missed out. But checked r/VinylReleases this morning, saw this local store is selling copies. Don't know if I will keep it *and* the upcoming RSD one, but better safe than sorry.

That's one of my locals! It's a cool store.

Where did you see info about an RSD version?

I think they might be referring to this one:

Almost forgot I had pre-ordered this a while back.

That’s the one, yep. They are calling it the “RSD Essential” press.

Anyone bought these yet?
I compared the new Saturdays to my original press. (Well, it was one that came with a CD and still had M83's MySpace page on the back cover.) My old copy has TruTone Mastering in the deadwax, which doesn't seem to match anything on Discogs, so it might be "secret" reissue.

The new one sounds fine... until I put on the old copy. Night-and-day better. Deeper bass, really nice high end. The RSD is muted by comparison. Shame, cuz the color is absolutely gorgeous. Might just keep it for the aesthetics.
