lolol. I don't think they intended that, but it basically shows how many they've sold. It's a 72-hour pre-order but says 279 in stock, that number is going up, so I can only assume it's the number of records of sold.

I assume there aren't pressing numbers for these. They'll just press as many orders as they get in 72 months. May 2022 release date...

If you look closely it's a negative number, so I would agree that it's the number they've sold and I also agree that this is a 72 hour window where they press to demand.

No I'm saying they'll press however many get sold plus a few. But it's a negative number, so it's showing how many they've sold. The "number in stock" must have started at zero and always decrements when one is sold.

EDIT: also interesting to see people are buying more of that splatter. because of the light colors, I think it'll look like crap.

I'm curious on how it'll sound. The doppelganger reissue sounded much better imo than the ETR pressings. No doubt they'll be tweaking the mix/master for manipulator too.

I dunno. I listened to the OG press, then the ETR press, then the new repress. I could barely tell a difference between all three.

I don't have an OG to compare to but I always thought the ETR pressing sounded a bit thin. The mid frequencies don't sound as present. At least to my ears, the new reissue sounds like it bumps up the mids more so it sounds more balanced and has a bit more punch.

You're right though, it's not a night and day difference.
