somethingvinyl
If anybody's interested, I've got a copy of that Velour record on white, that I'd sell. Same goes for Joe Christmas' North to the Future. Listened to both of them recently, and they don't really do it for me any more. Mike I need both. Let's trade. [Banned User]
Do you think that Anberlin's Cities will ever be pressed again? Now that they are done, I could see a box-set, but I don't know about single LP's.

I don't know about any represses to Anberlin's discography. The first 3 albums and last are T&N where the other 3 are major label. So it would kind of be in limbo. Now that they are done, I could see a box-set, but I don't know about single LP's. From what I understand, there's next to no chance for represses on the first three. They are effectively lost to the major label that now owns them and has no financial interest in repressing.

They are at least trying. https://twitter.com/anberlin/status/484296668016177152 Cities was a big album and there would be money in a repress so it's possible. I'm guessing the band doesn't realize how incredibly unlikely it is to get their stuff repressed from the major label. It's cool they're being optimistic but my sources tell me it ain't happening...nothing from the T&N era is getting repressed and there's not enough interest in New Surrender to begin with to justify another pressing either. I await to be proven wrong, however
AlexH.
Been working more on this lately. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AnmLSnOP01Z0dEoySTV1UzhJV1J0RmJENnU4M0lDcHc&gid=11 I think it's more or less complete at this point, I'm just looking for some clarification/pictures from anyone who owns the Joe Christmas Coupleskate 7". Apparently it came out on Flying Tart, then T&N took it over when they signed them. Fridge Fox

I think I've seen a black version of MxPx's "On the Cover" 2x10" on eBay...could've been a boot though, but it does line up with T&N's practice of pressing two colors of their early releases. Also, the pressing info for the Supertones "For the Glory" album is /310. Their trumpet player told me in a message.
TFP
Yeah, On The Cover is pressed on 2x10" black and 2x10" white

AlexH.
Nice! Thanks a lot. So yeah, apparently there are copies that have a sticker with Tooth & Nail's info stuck over Flying Tart's info, so it's technically TNV 5.
somethingvinyl
Weird. I thought that it was always a FT release. T$N must have bought their contract/rights/etc?
TFP
Animal Style Records just posted a ton of T&N stuff on eBay including that Joe Christmas 7" listed above: http://www.ebay.com/sch/animalstylerecords/m.html?item=171619622169&hash=item27f5539d19&pt=Music_on_Vinyl&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

vinylfilmaholic
Not really related but me and my buddy just watched the No New Kinda Story doc and it was the worst tease ever. It's 66 minutes long and ends right around 1996-7 after MxPx signed to A&M. There has to be more!!! somethingvinyl
somethingvinyl
Found it online last night. I loved parts of it because it was very much my 96-99 teenage life. Still, it was so short and they omitted so many great bands that made T&N the roster to follow! vinylfilmaholic

Seriously, it should have been at least 2 hours long and much more in depth and covered at least until 2007-2008.
