necroscope
The big day is coming up soon! Let's list our favorite spooky records. I'll start it off with: Roky Erickson - The Evil One (plus one). This is always near the top of my stack.
Shitty Rambo
This album is pretty fucking terrifying.

apeman
Color me intrigued. Yeah, what album is this? This cover art is awesome. It's the 'Dawn of the Dead' score by Goblin.
monsterrod
Sweet. I have a Goblin "Greatest Hits" 4CD set somewhere. I'll have to dig that up and keep an eye out for the Dawn of the Dead LP.
apeman
I like this one a lot, but their 'Suspiria' soundtrack is probably some of the creepiest music ever to have been recorded.

Suspiria is great! As is the Tenebre soundtrack. Most everything Goblin did was pretty awesome. They pressed up a 'greatest hits' (I put it in quotes since none of their stuff was actually a hit per se) not too long ago that was regularly found in shops since most of their stuff is insanely out of print. The Dawn of The Dead soundtrack can usually be found for around $30 on Discogs if you keep an eye out!
bill
The first Black Sabbath and Danzig albums. I also like to listen to the song "Dead Skin Mask" by Slayer, the end bit with the little girl screaming still terrifies me.
necroscope
Can't beat TSOL's Dance With Me. I have no idea what the original record was like, but I have a cool version with a marbled look that makes the record resemble a tombstone. kriss
That's the pressing I have as well. It's not Halloween until you've heard Code Blue!
necroscope
^ Agreed! And your post of the ROTLD soundtrack is a winner, I think that is probably the best collection of horror songs ever put together! Enigma was doing some good work back then!
