derby625
Blue copies were delayed and just shipped out last week. I ordered one of each and they should arrive sometime soon. Thank god.
GradedOnACurve
Bumping this to ask did anyone order this from Interpunk and if so what color is it. I'm happy with anything other than white.
gmoney
This is getting re-released by Rise in February. "For over 13 years The Jealous Sound have been inspiring fans and bands with their unique blend of indie and alternative rock. Rise Records is proud to re-release their latest full length album titled, "A Gentle Reminder" The new deluxe digipak version will include 4 bonus tracks including a brand new song and the 2008 Got Friends EP. The double vinyl LP version will include those, as well as 2 remixes of the song "Got Friends". One of the remixes created by Jimmy Tamborello of the Postal Service. A Gentle Reminder was recorded by John "Lou" Lousteau in the Foo Fighter's 606 Studios."
gmoney
They will also be touring with Balance and Composure (has this been announced? I don't really keep up with either band).

GradedOnACurve
So it's going to be a 2xLP at 16 tracks. 10 album tracks 4 song EP a 2 remixed songs? Yes I also don't quite get this either. It was just released last year and they could just press the 2008 EP. Or even re-issue the S/T EP because even though I enjoy those tracks but the recording is awful. northernfailure
got friends should just be put out as a 7" without the remixes. Yes! I've thought they should do that right along. Re-releasing the new album is fucking stupid. So now people like me who want those EP songs are going to have to re-buy this album. Lame. Willow_Tree_Records
They were talking about this on the last tour. They signed to Rise and Rise wanted to press the newest record themselves. At least they added something to it. Also, bummed that B&C is headlining over the Jealous Sound.
Shteev
Anyone have any info on a red pressing of this album. I know this topic is old but didn't search long for an answer. Sorry. It is actually red with some dark wisps in it. Any info is appreciated

fuckinandsuckinandtouchin
I feel bad for bumping this thread, but did anyone ever figure out pressing numbers for the Burnt Toast pressing? I finally sat down and streamed this album and want to grab a copy, but they have 4 variants (pink, blue, white and yellow). From reading this thread, it seems the pink was the very first press so I'll probably go with that one. Still surprised the label has these too. shamrocks
such a fun record. no idea on the pressing info, i just remember this being my introduction to the disillusionment of the "test pressing" being something rare, when BT probably sold over 100 of them
andables
Waiting for your arrival is such a great song!
kjkenney
Pink and blue were first for sure. I have blue and I'm pretty sure I bought it retail, IDK if pink was mail-order or something, and no clue on the numbers. I know this only helps so much. There's also a pink copy for $10 on discogs! Killer album!
xxmartinxx
Pink was the preorder version. Not sure on the numbers.
sabukweli
I have my pink copy up for $16 on Discogs, but that's mainly because of the cut they take. At this point, I'd go $14 shipped media mail to VCer in the U.S. Get at me.
