the magic erasers are, in fact, really good for this. but be careful when using it on anything but a white jacket, because it will take ink and gloss finish off of paper as well.

Usually when I have to deal with taking sticker residue off, I use a slight bit of WD - 40( Or other lubricants of the like). If you go this route be careful not to use too much. If you use a little bit it won't rub off any ink and will not damage the jacket at all.

^^^thats what I do now. Its been a year since I've tried mastering the dishwasher trick, but now I just will away the smudges and sticker goo. works on scratches too but you REALLY have to want them gone. but don't tell anyone....because its a Secret! that was my titular line in that movie. at the very end I walk on the screen and say that. but then they cut the scene.

For those that are actually interested, try lighter fluid. Put some on a cotton ball or paper towel and soak the label. Let it sit for like 15 seconds and the label should peel right off. Lighter fluid is also good for cleaning off sticker residue and other stuff on the label and jacket. It will dry without leaving any spots. Be careful as it can remove color from the jacket.

I use armor all orange cleaning wipes. Work really well for me, and it doesn't stink.
