mcpherson123
Anyone know who distro's Twenty-First Chapter Records in the US? I'm quite certain Twenty-First was created by the band to re-release their old material and since nothing has been released by them yet, there may not be any info on who is distributing them yet unless someone can do some internet sleuthing to find out who it will be. ilikeguitars
Shit I was hoping I could pass on RSD this year. Guess not. Same, heres to hopes that i can get it online. If not there is still the standard press.
tonyfranciosa
luv u RSD. Almost dropped $120 on RoC at the end of 2012. Glad I waited.

I think we're still not 100% certain there will be a standard press. The way the article is worded leaves it pretty ambiguous.

The fact that Vaya, in casino out, and acrobatic tenement seem to be easily available now leaves me hopeful and almost certain Relationship will have a standard press. rawker31
Definitely getting the RSD variant!

I'm hopeful as well but keep in mind that Fearless is the label that put out the In/Casino/Out and Vaya reissues. ROC and AT are being done by Twenty-First Chapter and we can't take for granted that they will carry on the same in-print practices as Fearless. Again, I'm hopeful there will be a standard press but I know at this point the game it cannot be guaranteed.
AlexH.
"Acrobatic Tenement will be released March 5 worldwide and March 25 in the UK, while Relationship of Command will be released on April 22. Both will be available in digital, CD and vinyl formats How is that at all ambiguous?
mcpherson123
The fact that they specify the RSD vinyl edition means that it may very well be the only vinyl edition of ROC that's coming out. It says both will be available in the three formats but it doesn't specify any other vinyl press for ROC. The more I read the paragraph the more it seems likely that there will be a standard and RSD vinyl press of ROC but I've assumed things like this before from other reports on other releases and been wrong. All I'm saying is that the way its worded it doesn't definitively say "ROC will be released on vinyl on April 22 with a RSD exclusive color vinyl on April 20." For all we know the CD and digital could be the 4/22 release for ROC and the RSD 4/20 date could be for its vinyl release. Just saying that they both will be released on all three formats doesn't mean that there will be a separate standard ROC release. Again, its highly likely that there will be a standard. I'm just saying I began to second guess that shit because it didn't specify the standard vinyl release. Both releases have been lumped together into a couple of awkward and indiscreet sentences. Rip
Well if for some reason it does happen to be a RSD only release, hopefully it sells really fucking well (which I have no doubt it will) and they do a standard pressing after. Kind of like what happened with the City & Colour - Sometimes release.
makeshiftrigger
they'll probably do the standard, why not do a standard press for one of their more recognized releases while giving the others the treatment of a not so limited release. i realize the band didn't press all of them but i still imagine they had some sort of an input
theactionisgo
There is a lot of money to be made here..i doubt there will be one small pressing and that's it. just like vaya...anyone who wants one should be able to get one with relative ease. That's just how I feel, though. Always thought Acrobatic Tenament should be on vinyl.

futre
Is it officially confirmed that there's gonna be an unlimited regular version (black?) of Relationship Of Command on April 22th? Amazon doesn't know anything about this yet, might be because of the RSD (promo could harm the hype). Do you guys think that the regular version will be cheaper than the overpriced RSD variant (40€ at my local store)?
