Team Avatar
I always listen to fleet foxes s/t in the summer and think about how its a great summer record. I also do it for every season, so I don't think it counts
mcm1610
I think I only have two records I associate a season with... ETID's "Gutter Phenomenon" is very summer-y for me, and then similarly, "New Junk Aesthetic" is very winter-y.
A_Boring_Story
My summer records include Vampire Weekend's S/T, Dave Hause's Resolutions, Coheed's SSTB, and Bloc Party's Silent Alarm. This year I think another one is going to The Tower And The Fool's How Long.
donlombardo
The Wonder Years - both the latest albums ruled my summer last year. and Lagwagon - Double Plaidinum, Craig's Brother - Homecoming, Gorilla Biscuits - Start today and blink-182 - Dude Ranch is summer of 2007. Hawkboy's 2 bit is very pre-summer for me, very end of spring semester song, same goes for Atlas Losing Grip - State Of Unrest, both released at the same time last year. For happy/sunny outside/driving with the windows down: AGBPOL - You're Always On My Mind Antarctigo Vespucci - Soulmate Stuff Jack's Mannequin - Everything In Transit Spraynard - Funtitled As for mellow summer night stuff, there are so many, but: American Football - S/T The Dangerous Summer - If You Could Only Keep Me Alive The Rural Alberta Advantage - Hometowns and Departing Joie De Vivre - Summer Months Tons more, but there's a few.
