BIO:

The Ills were formed in Bratislava in 2008. Since beginnings we are trying to connect post-rock with shoegaze sound and since then we played not even in Slovakia, but in Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Germany, supported bands such as God Is An Astronaut, pg.lost, Trespassers William, A Sunny Day In Glasgow, Kokomo and many more. In 2010 we released, after two EPs, our debut album To Wish Impossible Things.

Who are we and why vinyl?

We are The Ills. We are from Slovakia and we play post-rock. In 2010 we released our debut album To Wish Impossible Things on CD. It was probably the first post-rock album ever released in Slovakia, but after two years we are not quite happy with the result.

With new album we want everything changed. We tried to record new album as fast as possible, as a live band in practice room, so energy of our live shows would be on this album. Second, we really want to release vinyl, because this format has its unique energy and atmosphere, which we really love. With new album, hopefully out until summer, we want have everything as good as possible. With perfectionism also comes the spendings. We want to connect DIY principles with professional attitude of us and our label. And that's why we need your help.

We want to keep this project as realistic as possible and to combine the work we already done with our release-to-be.
