should i worry about shipping something and getting burned by "package didnt show" or "was damaged". i have two buyers for two separate items, about $60 each. neither has any feedback, one is to the UK. ive only sold one thing on there before, is there anything i can do to try to protect myself from getting screwed?

delivery confirmation dude. keep your receipts from the post office. take a picture of the items before you ship them out. if a buyer says they're damaged ask for pictures/for him to send it back and then you'll refund. people that are bullshitting won't want to send it back. if you're worried about legitimate damage done to the records, insure dem janx.

If you're really worried and traceable shipping is too expensive for the customer you may ask the customer to send payment as a gift and let them know upfront that this means you're not responsible for lost or stolen items. Send them a pic of the receipt or package so they they know it's sent, feel at ease and you've done your part. Sometimes buyers prefer this to paying crazy traceable shipping costs. Options are always good and be up front about coverage/liability.
