Like, the live album is good, I like listening to it every now and then but I don't see myself ever listening to it on my table when I have all the band's LPs already. I love Thrice very much and I love collecting records, but as stated by someone else up there, it will be my least played and I already have most of their albums. There are more records coming out with material I don't have that I feel would be a better use of funds. Hope this helps someone in the middle! Apparently I am the opposite on most people when it comes to live albums however. I love them. Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains the Same is one of the best albums ever, as is Dire Straits - Alchemy, as is Pink Floyd - Pulse, as is The Band - The Last Waltz. The list could go on, but if you love a band, and they release a career spanning live album, and it is mastered well, you can't beat it. I wish I could hear some of the tracks off of this to decide. A band like Thrice that has been playing these songs for years is going to do them better live on a farewell tour than they were originally recorded. Especially the songs off of Identity Crisis and Illusion of Safety. Songs just naturally develop their own character over that much time. But $75 is still absurd. You put forth a strong argument--nicely put. I agree, but I also agree that $75 is ridiculous.
