Urban Outfitters Exclusive Vinyl & Sale Discussion

Recommended Posts

Checked out the UO at Permiter Mall in Atlanta their $9,99 sale selection had Japandroids - Celebration Rock (white vinyl), M83 - You and the Night Soundtrack, Broken Bells - After The Disco, Atoms for Peace - Amok, Skaters- Manhattan and a few others. Also, a Velvet Underground boxset on sale for $59.99.

I was there a few weeks back as well... And there's a lot of sale items mixed in with non-sale vinyl .... So I'd assume it's be like that at most stores.

Also the store had almost 30 copies of The 1975! Do they really need that many????

I wish I could remember more of what I saw but, to be honest, I looked through over 150 LPs they had and sampled 30-40 of them on Spotify and a majority of them make me never want to listen to music again.  I'm trying to recall titles but my mind has blocked them from my memory.

Btw, I want to buy a copy of Thrice "Major Minor" which is $20 online. If someone buys that for me I can grab two records from the sale and send it to you in exchange (for those of you who don't have a local UO or who don't have much on sale at your location). I know I saw that Fennesz there for sure.

Just got back from my store. Picked up Yo La Tengo's "I am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your Ass" and Light in the Attic's "Country Funk 1969-1975 compilation" for myself a a few other records for people here. I made a huge list of everything they had on sale. I'll sort it out and post it in a little bit. I was a little bummed I couldn't find the Pulp album.

In case anyone here is in the Cleveland area, here's what I remember still being in the sale section at the UO in Crocker Park:

Atoms For Peace - Amok

Dum Dum Girls - Too True

Liars - whatever that new LP is called

The Men - Tomorrow's Hits

Some sort of Hunger Games picture disc

There were a number of jazz titles marked down, too.

There's lots of cool Numero Group titles marked down at my store. I might stop back next weekend for a second pickup.
