ifworkpermits
I hope it leaks in the next few days... but I say that knowing I'll buy the cd the day it comes out AND I've already preordered the vinyl. on this subject... doesn't it seem fair that if we pre-ordered the record/cd, we should be able to download the leak and not feel guilty? ifworkpermits
Makes tons of sense. Cancelling does seem a bit evil, but times are tough. I have taken the approach of downloading an album, listening to it, and if I like it, I'll buy it in some physical sense. I've been burned on so many bad albums that I hate paying for one and having it turn out to be complete shit.

ifworkpermits
You people are the reason why bands and musicians are starving! Make Ramen Music Eat on a Ramen Budget! =] I've made it a point to support every artist I do like in more ways than 10. I have found, however, I'm much more willing to buy something on Vinyl that I've never heard before than buy it on CD...
serravalle
You people are the reason why bands and musicians are starving! Oh, I'm sure Swifty and Mumford cry about it while swimming in their money pool.
mmhmm
Not this argument...back to Taylor Swift. And all her monies.

beta114
I love how people are lovin' on T.Swifty --- quality music all around. Speak Now was a spectacular package as well. Keep it up!

nivek87
going to get this. got speak now, wish s/t and fearless were on wax too. so far favorites for me go: Trouble > WANGBT > Red = Begin Again > State of Grace Ronan is an amazing song. hobohunter48
Wish S/T and Fearless would be pressed, It bums me out that she's totally crossed over to pop and lost her country roots. I also wish that The Band Perry would be pressed.
dedlee
she's way better as a pop artist than a country artist to be honest. the 'pop country' realm she inhabited is pretty irredeemable in the first place, though. glad she dropped it. pushbacktosquare
The only thing I've gotten from this thread is... PRESS FEARLESS
hipsterasfolk
They really do need to press her music other than just "Speak Now" At least Red will be on vinyl
booms528
I'm not as big into the first two albums, as some of you seem to be, but I also hate country music. Fearless is decent, but Speak Now is just so so good. And I definitely think the more pure pop sound of this new album (at least the songs that have come out) is the right thing to do, even if she doesn't stick with it. It's always good to mix it up. ifworkpermits
Have any of you seen her show live? If not, it is a must... Despite all the crazed 12 year old girls and all that, her show is one of the best "larger" shows I've ever been to. ex: During Love Story, she got into a balcony on the stage which then lifted up and played to the rafters as it moved around the entire top portion of the Staples Center as confetti rained down. ex part 2: Mid show, she walks (not runs and not escorted) through the bottom level of the venue towards the back portion of the arena, sits on a smaller stage back there, and plays acoustically to the back portion of the arena as the stage she is sitting on rotates slowly.... also, on her way walking there and back, she gives out hugs, takes really quick candid pictures, and gives quite a bit of her bracelets to fans. ex part 3 (and final): She has a rain machine that spells out "Should've Said No" as it pours on her during the end of that song. = Epic
