sharkticon
Have any of you seen her show live? If not, it is a must... Despite all the crazed 12 year old girls and all that, her show is one of the best "larger" shows I've ever been to. ex: During Love Story, she got into a balcony on the stage which then lifted up and played to the rafters as it moved around the entire top portion of the Staples Center as confetti rained down. ex part 2: Mid show, she walks (not runs and not escorted) through the bottom level of the venue towards the back portion of the arena, sits on a smaller stage back there, and plays acoustically to the back portion of the arena as the stage she is sitting on rotates slowly.... also, on her way walking there and back, she gives out hugs, takes really quick candid pictures, and gives quite a bit of her bracelets to fans. ex part 3 (and final): She has a rain machine that spells out "Should've Said No" as it pours on her during the end of that song. = Epic A buddy of mine plays guitar/banjo/mandolin for her. I am jealous and proud of him every single day. This sounds awesome.

jhulud
I need that shirt. It'll piss off all my HxC & Punk friends who give me a hard time for being into T-Swizzle.

Good thing I don't have friends, but my GF hates Ke$ha and T. Swift for obvious reasons. The hate can be seen in her eyes when my friend drunkenly refer to her as one of the two mentioned above. The laughter is uncontrollable She got dem bitch eyes

Both of those can very easily be considered compliments though I do get her frustration.
jhulud
The funny thing is that my friends try to give me shit for it, in good fun of course, thinking that I'd cower down and be apologetic and whatnot. But they know that I don't care much what others think of the music I like, love, and enjoy. I stand by the whole mentality that to me, there is no such thing as guilty pleasures in music. I like what I like and I'm a fan of bands and musicians and certainly don't feel guilty about it even though some societal norm or expectation says that I should. In the music site/zine I write for I'm "the metalhead with the inexplicable love for Taylor Swift", and that is mighty fine by me.

I mean, I rock Miley Cyrus shirts, I have about 6 or 7 TSwift Concert shirts (god bless eBay), Jessie J shirts... I don't have a Ke$ha one... I don't consider them guilty pleasures at all... in fact, most of them dominate my "recently played" playlist on my iPod. Its good music no matter what genre it is. Just because you're punked out doesn't mean you can't listen to T Swift. /end 2nd rant of this thread.
booms528
Damn I need that "Taylor Swift or die" shirt... I bought one at her show in June 2011, but it's not exactly something I wear out much.

000000
So now that this is out there, it's pretty enjoyable on the first listen. Some of the slow songs just drag on and on though (same reason I always skip over Dear John).

ifworkpermits
I'll hold out for the five days til release. You are very strong... You should go sign the petition she started. I, on the other hand, am weak. It's amazing. Very different from Speak Now and, well, any of her other releases. Not quite sure it will live up to them but time will tell. jhulud
What petition? I know my twitter feed has been blowing up with people with their panties in a twist over the leak.
