Emo Revival
Just found this movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1274725/ and started streaming in on netflix. So far it seems pretty great, any one else see it?
agaetisbyrjun
This has been in my queue for awhile now, but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. Will have to do that this weekend
3arl
It's just alright to me. It seems like a college film project production quality wise.
PC Music
I watched it when I had my Netflix trial. Sounds a lot more interesting than it actually was. Agree with 3arl's assessment.
Emo Revival
Yeah it was more like a movie whining about the music industry that anything of substance. Some of the interviews were cool, but it was just like 30 people saying 'oh man record stores are going away, we're going to lose the community' and yeah thats true, but they really over did it. Guest
I have seen it. Only interesting part to me was Thurston Moore sitting in front of his record collection like he does in every interview I have seem him do.
somethingvinyl
I was excited when this came out two years ago. A few interesting stories and stats but not the most engrossing doc.

Guest
^That documentary is awesome. Chasing Ghosts is good too. It is about arcade games, and is sort of a companion to King of Kong.

PC Music
Yeah King of Kong is classic. I watched this one called Indie Game: The Movie that was entertaining. A little heavy on the dramatics, but better than being bland.

withengineheart
This movie was a yawn.. Anyone know a site that has Blood, Sweat & Vinyl streaming or torrent? Eh, maybe I'll actually pay for a doc for once.
anchorclose
King of Kong is so damn good Best part of that documentary is how the dude with the mullet and the mongo ego makes a living selling barbecue sauce.
smailtronic
Yeah it was more like a movie whining about the music industry that anything of substance. This. I picked it up on RSD a few years back, watched it once, and put it back on the shelf.
adamlikesmusic
Yeah, I tried watching this back when I still had Netflix, and I probably made it 10 minutes in. Just couldn't watch it.
