moodydan Posted November 13, 2012 Share Posted November 13, 2012 NEMS did color releases, but also 180g remasters from the UK tapes (sourced from the original Vertigo tapes). There are a lot of complaints about volume fluctuations with the Rhino reissues - due to the original tapes from WB - especially with Paranoid. However, it seems that whichever versions you end up with are the versions that are preferred (at least reviews seem to reflect this).
