soundboard
(I'm sure this has been said - or a ton of you already know it) Hot Topic did the same thing with the Thrice repress of The Artist In The Ambulance. The original copies had pixelated covers (and sold out really quick). They then had the label press them on red vinyl and sold them with no refund or exchange to anyone who bought the first press. I remember a lot of people liking the green swirl variant better and replacing their pixelated sleeve with the new sleeve and then trying to sell the red variant in the pixelated sleeve. It's a great way to make someone re-buy something two times. Nothing like spending $50 (or over) to finally get a nice copy.

firefoxUSSR
Queue but it's still better than eBay prices. Nah, I have one that normally is on eBay. At least the audio doesn't suck donkey dick. I can live without the title track too.
drummerboy032
So did the black press sell out? Or it just says out of stock since HT cash promo is running?

marc32137
It's not sold out, all CDs and vinyl will be back up after Hot Cash You really gotta lobby your bosses to start using unique Hot Cash codes so they can stop doing this. It's just getting silly.

soundboard
Ain't happening, records will be back up soon I always wonder what casual music buyers (the ones who aren't on VC and aren't familiar with the situation) think when all the vinyl and cd's just dissapear. I wonder how many calls customer services gets while this promotion runs haha. I know you are troopers for answering the same questions 100 times every time the promotion runs haha. Do you wish you had unique codes?
tokimedo
i doubt travis cares either way. hes not customer service, he doesnt have to deal with that shit.

SaviorSelf
selling a sealed copy of the marble blue press for cost + shipping if anyones interested
searos
I do gotta wonder if removing music sales from the site is needed anymore if the hot cash explicitly excludes vinyl and cds. All sales do for the most part. Seems like a waste of time where someone could be buying stuff.
Shitty Rambo
Sorry for bumping a 2-year-old trainwreck of a thread, but does anyone remember how many covers Patrick screen printed for this? Specifically the water-colored ones.

ifworkpermits
They were out of /75 I believe the watercolored ones were way more limited. I think only Patrick would know the final answer, but I have it listed as /10, but I think that is for gkerseys die cut cover. The watercolor ones are /75 - unless I have a different watercolor jacket.
TFP
Unless I'm wrong and there is a second type of jacket Patrick did that I did not get.
Shitty Rambo
Yeah the die-cut sleeves were unrelated to Patrick's. I believe he did /75 total and maybe 10 of those had the watercolor paper? Ugh. This is going to bother me. Shoulda never got involved with Discogs!
jonnywreck
http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/86907-the-finch-screened-jackets-thread/ 75 total but I couldn't find an exact number of watercolors. That's the link with the whole thread, though! Shitty Rambo
