ronniegwilliams
Maybe I'm just a grumpy old man, but I haven't been too excited for anything announced so far for 2013. I mean, it would be rad to hear new stuff from Red City Radio, Saves the Day, and Alkaline Trio, but, I have yet to hear official announcements for 2013 releases. crapforgenius
The just teased Breeders 'Last Splash' 20th Anniversary Edition 'LSXX' is going to win 2013, so they might as well cancel the rest of the year.

It gives me hope that the new album might be decent. I'm hoping they play some Portland shows In 2013. I missed them last time they played here. michaelmanfredi
Derek™
Why is everyone insisting Brand New will release something next year? Have they confirmed anything?
seamoney
They have not. As of August they had no plans to record anything, but hope to release something in 2013. I'm not expecting anything.
Derek™
Yeah, Brand New "hoping" or aiming to release something probably carries less weight and tentative scheduling than any other band, ever.

3arl
Danny Brown should drop his new album sometime next year. Definitely stoked for that. paralyticstalks
crapforgenius
Atoms for Peace, The Joy Formidable, Suede, and MBV. Suede makes me nervous - all this talk about "sounding like 'Dog Man Star' meets 'Coming Up'" and "a 'real' Suede record" makes me worry it's going to sound like they're trying too hard to capture former glories and end up being terrible. That said, I'm ready to be proven wrong. (What I'd love for them to do is continue exploring the direction they were headed with "Attitude" and the rest of the post-'A New Morning' material, but I'm not holding my breath.) colt3ninja
i'd say my most anticipated is that Palms record that features isis members and chino from deftones.

I don't know, I'm looking forward to it with an open mind. 10 years between albums for any band is tricky. Personally, I've never been a huge fan of their last two albums so I'm hoping for something "new" sounding, but still Suede.
