My wife signed us up for it a few weeks before we got married, and we probably used it 5-6 times just leading up to the wedding to order stuff we forgot we needed for the reception. I definitely used Prime when I was a student and it was free but I can usually get everything I want with "free super saver shipping". Takes a little longer to ship, and sometimes I have to think "what do I need that I can get now to get this order over $25", but I don't have to pay the fee to join prime. So I signed up 3 times (just made 3 different accounts). I guess technically that was stealing, but whatever.
