Don't get too put off by season 2, it's a setup for the rest of the series. I've said it here many times before, it's the greatest drama in the history of tv. Rip
Just finished watching River on Netflix last week. Seriously one of the best shows I've ever seen. The acting is absolutely incredible. My fiancée and I are about 6 episodes in The Killing now. Also really good so far. Interested to see how this whole thing plays out over 4 seasons. Also season 5 is scheduled for the future. We're watching Game of Thrones also and I realized I actually got some people mixed up yesterday when we were watching Vikings; "But...that chick with red hair, married to the king, she's still in jail, right?" Haha right? I'm looking forward to the new episodes. I'm curious to see where they'll go now that so much time has passed
Breezus
Saw Me and Earl and the Dying Girl last night. I like how it made me laugh for about an hour (those film parodies were something else) and then, towards the end, it decided to fuck me up. ronniegwilliams
After being such a huge fan of both Murder Party and Blue Ruin, I finally got around to watchin Green Room. Nearly perfect, I would give this 9-9.5/10. The cast, dynamic, pop culture references; everything about this film was incredible. dantheriver

The writing was absolutely incredible. I was already so invested in the characters so early on. They did an amazing job of getting me so sucked in so early on knowing later that all hell was going to break lose. Everything was executed (pun intended) so well, the score helped drive the intensity, and everything was building up till the end. I was yelling "fuck!", "NO!", and had moments of pure silence. The music references were amazing. I mean, how could I not like a movie where there is a Nothing and Fugazi sticker on the van, and the lead is wearing a Minor Threat shirt. 10/10 for me. Wasn't too short, or too long. It didn't have any scenes that didn't serve a purpose. The only qualm I had was the audio levels at times. Other than that, the movie was perfect. Rip
Saw Sausage Party yesterday. It was fucking hilarious. Loved every minute of it. Also finished the 4th season of Wentworth on Netflix. Probably the best season yet. The show just keeps on getting better and better. Watched the first episode of Broadchurch as well. I really liked what I saw. Would've watched more but I had to get to bed.

pizza face
2019 is the year I stop watching horror movies I've seen already 15 times. Told myself I need to start watching classics that I've missed out on... So far I've watched Alien Aliens Casino Gremlins Predator Total recall E. T. Last action hero Commando Demolition man Just finished Casino and its pretty much just Goodfellas down to the same soundtrack. I thought Casino was the better movie even though there are more quotables in Goodfellas. Next up is Scarface Conan the barbarian /destroyer Running man Taxi driver Batman 1989 Any other recommendations? Rip
TheGhostOfRandySavage
Been a while since anyone posted in this thread. Anyone watching anything good right now? TV-wise I started watching Amazon's Wheel of Time adaptation and it's pretty good so far. I also got a great deal on the Criterion Lone Wolf and Cub collection and I'm slowly making my way through that. So good! Rip

The other day we finished the most recent season of The Sinner (which was amazing) and the first season of the Chucky series. Can’t wait for season 2. And we’re also currently caught up on Hawkeye. Those are the 3 big ones right now. New season of the Witcher starts in a week and a half so we’ll start watching that. New season of Euphoria is next month which I’m super stoked about. Been forever since the first season. I’m also 2 episodes into the new season of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. It’s sooo good.
